Join us for a one-day, outdoor festival at Southern Brewing Company in Athens, featuring great music, craft beer and cocktails, local food trucks, and more!

Featuring: Drivin N Cryin, John Moreland, Lera Lynn, T. Hardy Morris, S.G. Goodman, Jay Gulley and JoJo Glidewell, Claire Campbell, Austin Darnell, and Mike Killeen.

All proceeds go to support Family Connections-Communities in Schools of Athens.

Amplify Athens is a one-day, outdoor festival at Southern Brewing Company in Athens, on Saturday, June 12 featuring Drivin N Cryin, John Moreland, Lera Lynn, T. Hardy Morris, S.G. Goodman, Jay Gulley and JoJo Glidewell, Claire Campbell, Austin Darnell, and Mike Killeen.

Craft beer, cocktails, and local food trucks will be on site.

All proceeds go to support Family Connections-Communities in Schools of Athens.

The festival will take place rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable in the event of severe weather conditions.

Several options are available for receiving your tickets. We recommend you print them at home or have them sent to your mobile device, which you will present at the event for entry.

For online purchase, tickets are currently available online and will continue to be available online throughout the day of the festival. On June 12, tickets can also be purchased, in person, beginning at 12 noon at the box office on site, if available.

Patrons will be given a wristband when they check in permitting them to enter and exit the festival as many times as needed.

Event capacity will be limited due to safety precautions.

Social distancing is encouraged. The event is outside on 5 acres and there’s plenty of space!

Mask wearing is strongly encouraged when outside. Masks are required when inside the brewery.

The event hours are from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. Here are the estimated show times:

12 p.m. – Doors

1 p.m. – Mike Killeen

1:40 p.m. – Austin Darnell

2:35 p.m. – Claire Campbell

3:20 p.m. Jay Gulley and JoJo Glidewell

4:15 p.m. – S.G. Goodman

5:15 p.m. – T. Hardy Morris

6:15 p.m. – Lera Lynn

Yes! Southern Brewing Company will be supplying their craft brews on site. They’ll also be serving alcoholic slushies and cocktails on tap. 

Local food trucks will also be on hand for bites!

Parking is very limited. Ride sharing is strongly encouraged, and Lyft discount cards will be available as the event approaches.

Children are allowed, and kids 12 years-old and under get in free. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and no more than three children per adult are permitted.

Please be advised this is an outdoor event with alcohol sales; we recommend exercising caution when bringing children under 12.

Cameras are allowed only if they DO NOT have interchangeable lenses. Please be courteous with the use of smartphones for photos and videos during the show.

One chair per attendee is permitted. Strollers and blankets are also allowed.

Yes, you can purchase Amplify t-shirts, commemorative festival t-shirts, hats, and artist merchandise during the festival.

NO vending without permission from the event producers

NO bicycles, scooters, go carts, or ATVs inside the gates

Any items deemed as posing a threat to the safe enjoyment of the patrons at the Amplify Athens event.

Yes, there will be security and crowd control staff on site. 

A local EMT will be onsite for first aid needs during the event.

In the event of inclement weather, we will work to ensure safety of all patrons. Our lawyers want us to let you know that you, the ticket user bears all risks, including cancellation of the event and of inclement weather. This means no refunds.

Amplify My Community is a 501(c)(3) that hosts music concerts to raise money and awareness for locally-acting nonprofits all over the South fighting to alleviate homelessness and poverty. Formed in 2011, Amplify concerts have raised over $385,000 to help our neighbors who need it most, including more than $50,000 in Athens for Family Connections-Communities in Schools.

Family Connection-Communities in Schools is a partnership of more than 100 organizations in Athens-Clarke County working with families to research the needs of children and families in the community. The work of this organization has helped reduce teen pregnancy by 75 percent, increase the number of low-income students reading at grade level from 57 to 90 percent, and increase the graduation rate from 50 percent to over 80 percent.
